I like this shoe. It's higher than what I'm used to, but I can walk in it comfortably, so that's all that matters. This shoe is adjustable to make it fit a little tighter, but no way to loosen it when my feet are a little swollen :-(Bought as gift. Took advice & went up a size. My daughter loves them.I am a Birkenstock junkie. Unfortunately they don't make a heel. I bought this shoe from a bootery in Kalamazoo, MI. Being a hairdresser just under 5 tall I wanted something comfortable and good for my feet that would give me some height. I've been wearing these around 10 hours a week for the past 6-7 months and they are so uncomfortable. It feels like there's no padding underneath the balls of my feet where my feet have formed to the insole. I am very disappointed in this shoe considering I spent around $175 for these. I definitely wouldn't repurchase another pair.
